The State of Qatar and Afghanistan have had religious and diplomatic relations for many years, and one of the most prominent achievements of the State of Qatar in the history of its relations with Afghanistan is the Bringing peace between the United States and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for the Doha Agreement on February 29, 2020, entitled the Agreement to Bring Peace to Afghanistan, also known as the Doha Agreement. The terms of the agreement include the withdrawal of all American and NATO forces from Afghanistan, the Taliban’s pledge to prevent Al-Qaeda from operating in areas under Taliban control, and the talks between the Taliban and the Afghan government, which were the reason for ending the American occupation and bringing peace to Afghanistan. Even after the war, the State of Qatar continued as the only country among them. The Arab countries in their relations with the caretaker government continued to help Afghanistan politically and economically.
